Programmer in the AI world

We took a look at what had happened in AI over the last two years, why it was important, and whether the current AI wave was just another hype or not. On that occasion, we also examined how Large Language Models (that crucial class of algorithms that had driven AI development in recent years) worked, how we did or didn't control them, and what role Shoggoth played in it. This led us to discuss the future direction of AI, how it would change the job market, and how the role of the programmer (software engineer) would be transformed as a result. Finally, we talked about the democratization of AI tooling and how software engineers could branch out more towards AI projects.
