The Precipice, Pilsen

Discussion about existential risks, AI safety, and the future of humanity took place as part of a discussion series organized by the Czech Effective Altruism Group. The purpose of the discussion was to introduce the newly published Czech translation of the book The Precipice by Oxford philosopher Toby Ord.

This particular discussion occurred at Depo2015 in Pilsen. I had the opportunity to engage in the discussion with Hana Kalivodová, the Chairperson of the Czech Effective Altruism Group. The moderator for the discussion was Oldřich Vágner, the editor of the publisher Argo.
