Interview for Roklen24

The mental health of Generation Z raises concerns. The Elin.ai app aims to help them overcome anxiety.

The mental health of Gen Z is in crisis. Rising anxiety levels and increasing suicide rates, especially among teenage girls, paint a worrying picture. Social media, where American teens spend nearly five hours daily, likely plays a significant role. While it's not fully proven that social platforms directly harm mental health, the online world often exposes young people to hate and humiliation.

This troubling reality inspired me to create Elin.ai—a digital shield designed to protect Gen Z's mental health. Elin.ai learns user habits and helps mitigate the negative impacts of the digital space. In this article, I’ll share why I embarked on this journey, how Gen Z contributed to its development, and how we can bridge the growing divide between parents and their digital-native kids.
